Stephen Anderson

I am Stephen Anderson the  founder of All Around Us. I wanted to take some time and to say hello personally and tell you a little bit about me....  

Over the past 20 years I have worked in packaging for some of the worlds biggest fashion brands such as Burberry and River Island. This has led to me collaborating with some of the worlds largest names in fashion and music including  Supreme New York, Vivienne Westwood, Rihanna, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Pop Trading Company amongst others.          

I started my packaging journey by accident, taking a temporary job at Littlewoods Head Office in Liverpool as a packaging assistant in 2003, and have plied my trade in this industry ever since. The breadth and scope of the world of packaging within fashion retailers and packaging suppliers continues to grow in importance, as retailers develop new innovations and approaches continuously.    

Packaging literally touches every product sold and is a vital part of the supply chain. It can make your brand stand out, it can allow your product to be sold in certain locations, it gives customers important information about your brand and the product they have purchased, and it can also be problematic as the term packaging has become a byword for waste and consumption.    

During my career, I have developed and launched multiple complete packaging rebrands, led the sustainable packaging revolution, and was a key player in the introduction of RFID to the High Street. Through the creation of bespoke ordering platforms, I connected brands to some of the best packaging suppliers in the world ensuring millions of items arrived at the end customer looking as good as when they were first manufactured.    

I launched All Around Us to help start-up fashion brands find the right approach to prioritise their packaging requirements; younger brands that are expanding and want to finesse their offer or improve their workflow and data management; and small/mid-sized brands that may be looking to successfully rebrand or want to move to traceable sustainable solutions and need the best B2B and B2C packaging to support this.
